JAILED TANZANIAN JOURNALIST TO MISS MOTHER’S FUNERAL

Mr. Kabendera's lawyers filed a request for him to be allowed to attend

his mother's funeral on Sunday. 

However, the court denied the request saying there is no legislation in Tanzanian case law that allows a detainee to gain access to the outside world.
