The U.S. House of Representatives has passed a bill that would require
the Trump administration to sanction Chinese officials deemed
responsible for the mistreatment of Uighur Muslims.
China denies the use of detention camps and has vowed to retaliate if
this bill is signed into law.
The move is seen as another potential barrier to the U.S. and China
ending their trade war.
U.S. correspondent William Denselow reports.
