Progressives under fire in democratic debate [CLIPS]

Democrats vying to challenge U.S. President Donald Trump in the 2020
election have faced off in the first of two nights of televised
debates.

Immigration and healthcare policy dominated much of proceedings as the
party's progressives came under fire from more moderate candidates.

The elections are over a year away but these debates are a crucial
chance for candidates to secure funding and standout in a crowded
field.

Massachusetts senator Elizabeth Warren laid out her vision for
American healthcare.

For much of Tuesday's debate- Warren and Sanders came under fire from
more moderate candidates. In his closing remarks former Maryland
Representative John Delaney said their progressive polices were
unrealistic.
