South Korean military officials say North Korea has fired a number of
unidentified projectiles off its east coast.
This comes less than a week after Pyongyang fired two short-range
ballistic missiles.
South Korea says it's maintaining a readiness posture and is
monitoring the situation.
The Trump administration didn't immediately comment but hopes have
been growing in Washington that stalled denuclearization negotiations
can be rekindled.
