Ethiopia has deployed several hundred medical officers across the
country to prevent the spread of Ebola which is moving through parts
of eastern Africa.
The preventive measures come as the World Health Organization raises
an alert on the disease which has killed more than 1700 people in the
Democratic Republic of Congo.
