Purdue Pharma settle opioid lawsuit

The maker of the prescription opioid Oxycontin has settled a lawsuit
in the United States for nearly $275 million.

Purdue Pharma who are owned by the billionaire Sackler family are
accused of contributing to the opioid crisis.

The company is still facing hundreds of similar lawsuits across the country.
