As charges dropped, actor Jussie Smollett insists he has been "truthful from day one".

All the charges against an American actor accused of orchestrating a racist and homophobic attack on himself have been dropped by the authortities in Chicago.


Juissie Smollett, star of the drama "Empire", had been accused of lying to police about the attack.


He told reporters he has been "truthful from day one".
