Russian President Vladimir Putin will be in India for a two day official visit, where he and Indian Prime Minister Modi are expected to sign a $5 billion deal for S-400 surface-to-air missiles.
Ahead of that the US State Department has issued a warning, saying transactions with Russia would trigger American sanctions.
