On the occasion of India's 72nd Independence Day, the country's Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that his government will launch a universal healthcare scheme by September 25.
The scheme was first announced earlier this year and aims to provide affordable healthcare to 100 million families in India. The government claims it will be the biggest government funded health scheme globally.
