17 DEAD AFTER US SCHOOL SHOOTING

The suspect in a school shooting in the US state of Florida has been named as 19 year-old Nikolas Cruz.

He's a former student who'd been excluded from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland.

Mr Cruz was arrested in a nearby town soon after the attack which killed 17.

It's the deadliest school shooting in the US since Sandy Hook in 2012.
