U.S. lawmakers delay vote on ending government shutdown

The United States government shutdown is entering a third day as
lawmakers in the senate failed to gain enough support to vote again on
the subject.

A vote was scheduled to take place on Monday at 1am eastern time but
having failed to garner enough support, senators agreed to push a vote
back until noon on Monday.
