New EU financial markets rules come into force despite many firms and banks unprepared

A huge new piece of European Union legislation on finance markets is coming into force with many businesses unprepared for the changes.

Banks and financial firms have been racing to get ready for the directive know as MIFID two to avoid trading freezes - the new rules will affect organizations around the world.
