New York City police are treating an explosion at one of Manhattan's
main transit hubs as an "attempted terrorist attack".
27-year-old Akayed Ullah is in custody after detonating a device that
was strapped to his body.
Police say it was a "low-tech" device based on a pipe-bomb.
New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio spoke to reporters after the incident.
