Richard Thaler wins Nobel prize in economics for work on psychology and economy

INTRO:

The American economist Richard Thaler has won the Nobel prize in
economics for his work on the impact of individual decisions on
financial markets.

The committee that awards the prize said that Thaler had given new
insight into how human psychology shapes decision-making.
