Pres. Trump takes credit for gains against Islamic State

U.S. President Donald Trump is taking credit for the gains made against the Islamic State in Syria.

He also admitted he has not been briefed on the United Nations report that the Syrian government used chemical weapons multiple times.

According to Pentagon, the U.S. strategy in Iraq and Syria remains essentially unchanged since the Obama administration, except for the one-time bombing run against a Syrian air base in April following a chemical weapons attack.

President Trump says his approach wouldn't change if Bashar Al Assad again used chemical weapons.
