Hurricane Irma, the strongest storm ever recorded in the Atlantic, has slammed into several Caribbean islands with wind speeds of up to 185 miles per hour.
The storm lashed Barbuda, Antigua and St. Martin, with Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic next on its path.
