Netflix has signed TV mega producer Shonda Rhimes to a multi-year
production deal, ending her 15-year relationship with ABC Studios that
yielded hit TV shows like "Grey's Anatomy" and "Scandal." The news
comes less than a week after ABC's corporate parent the Walt Disney
Company announced that it will sever ties with Netflix in 2019 in
favor of its own proprietary streaming service.
