Indian and Chinese troops clash in Ladakh

Indian and Chinese soldiers were involved in a minor altercation in the Ladakh area of India. No arms were fired but Indian officials say that stones were pelted between the two sides.

Both sides often accuse the other of border incursions but this is the first time in years that violence as been reported between Indian and Chinese troops at the border. 

Both nations have been engaged in a two month long border stand-off in the Doklam plateau.
