Heather Heyer is being remembered at a memorial service in Charlottesville, Virginia.
She died when a car slammed into a group of counter-protestors.
U.S. President Donald Trump has posted on social media, that she was a truly special young woman but he has not called Heather's parents.
His post comes as the criticism of how the American President has responded to the violence in Charlottesville continues to pile up, with former presidents' Bush issuing a joint statement saying all hatred must be rejected.
