Tensions are high with just two days to go until scheduled elections, and opponents of  Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro are pulling out the stops to pressure him to call them off.

Massive demonstrations have been called for Friday and four  people were reportedly killed in the second day of a general strike on Thursday.
