Deadline on Charlie Gard end-of-life care passed

The deadline on reaching an agreement on how to care for terminally ill baby Charlie Gard at the end of his life has passed.

In London's High Court on Wednesday, Justice Francis ruled that if the parents and Great Ormond Street Hospital were unable to reach an agreement, the child would be taken to a hospice and have his life support removed shortly after.
