UK PM Theresa May re-elected as MP but faces losing Conservative majority in Parliament


As votes are being counted across the country, UK Prime Minister Theresa May has been speaking after being re-elected as Member of Parliament for her constituency Maidenhead in Southern England.

Exit polls after voting finished on late on Thursday suggested her Conservative party would be the largest party in Parliament, but would fall short of an overall majority.
