Indian Government Says Citizens Don’t Have Absolute Rights Over Their Bodies

The Indian government has told the country's top court that Indian nationals do not enjoy complete freedom over their own bodies.  

The government has made it mandatory for all citizens to have their biometric parameters registered- a proposal that has been challenged by various organizations.
