White House blocked Justice Dept. testimony on Russia - Washington Post

The Trump administration told Sally Yates, the former Acting U.S. Attorney General, her testimony concerning Russia was covered under presidential communications priviledge, and therefore, the Washington Post reports, she could not testify to the House Intelligence Committee.

The White House has responded on social media that the story is false and irresponsible and currently, hearings have been cancelled.
