British Prime Minister Theresa May says the UK is facing one of the most significant moments in recent history, as she prepares to trigger Article 50 Wednesday, which will officially start the process of leaving the European Union.
Speaking at a Qatari investment forum in Birmingham, the British leader said she wanted to create what she called a deep and special partnership with the 27 country bloc after Brexit.
Some MPs who wanted to remain part of the EU have warned Mrs May she has set ambitious goals and would be judged against them.
However the British leader said the country would pursue it's global ambitions after Brexit.
