Venezuelan President Nicholas Maduro has announced the launch of a new exchange rate mechanism.
The new mechanism will go into effect next week, and is the latest bid to alleviate the country's economic crisis.
President Maduro has accused the Organization of American States and neighbors of waging an economic war.
