UK's former man in Brussels warns Brexit talks will be "humongous"

Britain's former Ambassador to the European Union says talks on Britain's exit from the bloc will be 'humongous' in scale.

Sir Ivan Rogers, who resigned from his post last month, warned European leaders did not expect any deal to be ratified until the early to mid 2020s.

UK Prime Minister Theresa May has hopes the negations and a trade deal can be concluded within two years.

Giving evidence to MPs, Sir Ivan Rogers warned the talks would be all-encompassing.
