Russia blame Ukraine for latest fighting and believe violence showcases need for US-Russia dialogue

The Kremlin has announced that the escalation of fighting in eastern
Ukraine highlights the need for dialogue between Russia and the United
States.

Fierce fighting over the past several days around the town of Avdiivka
has left thousands of people without water and electricity in freezing
temperatures.
