'Soft Brexit' would take Second Scottish Referendum off the table

The First Minister of Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon, who said a second Scottish referendum could be on the cards once the UK leaves the EU, now says she would put aside the idea if a 'Soft Brexit' is negotiated.


It comes as welcome news to opposition parties wanting to end the uncertainty over a second Scottish Referendum, however Ms Sturgeon was keen to stress this would be a short-term measure only.
