White House continues to pressure Russia over Syria

According to media reports the outgoing Obama administration continues to pressure Moscow hoping to strike a deal to end the siege of Aleppo. The White House reportedly pursues a goal to secure a solution ensuring support to the Syrian opposition fighting Bashar al-Assad forces throughout the 5,5 year long civil conflict.
