Turkish government withdraws bill to overturn child sex convictions for men who marry their victims

The Turkish government has withdrawn a bill which could have overturned men's convictions for sexual assault against children if the perpetrators married their victims.

A public backlash against the bill has seen widespread protests across Turkey.
