MICROSOFT'S CLOUD COMPUTING SENDS SHARES TO RECORD HIGH

Microsoft's shares have hit an all-time high after the software firm posted better than expected profits.

It registered $4.7bn in profits in the three months to September.

Danny Cox of stockbroker Hargreaves Lansdown says that was partly due to Microsoft's focus on cloud computing.
