BRANDS DISAPPEAR AT TESCO AMID BREXIT ROW

UK supermarket giant Tesco is facing a shortage of some of the most famous brands on its shelves amid a row with its biggest supplier over Brexit.

Unilever is reported to be trying to raise prices of some products because it faces higher costs as Britain's pound slumps against other currencies.

Brands including Marmite, Pot Noodles, Surf washing powder, Hellmann's mayonnaise and Ben & Jerry's ice cream are all out of stock in Tesco's online store.

UK correspondent Olly Barratt says the stand-off is being used to illustrate the Brexit debate.
