NISSAN 'OPTIMISTIC' ABOUT BREXIT

The boss of Renault-Nissan says he won't make major decisions on its investments in the UK until the outcome of Brexit negotiations is clear.

Carlos Ghosn (PRON: GO-SEN) has told British media plans for Nissan's plant in Sunderland in the north of England will have to wait until that point.

The car maker had warned before the vote that it would reconsider its British investments if the UK chose to leave the EU.

However, Laith Khalaf of stockbroker Hargreaves Lansdown, says Mr Ghosn is sounding a positive note about the future.
