Hillary Clinton has been formally nominated the Democratic Party's Presidential candidate, and will now be the first woman to lead one of America's major political parties in the race for the White House.
She'll accept the nomination in a speech on Thursday night.
Die-hard supporters of Senator Bernie Sanders walked out of the Convention and took part in a spontaneous protest following Mrs. Clinton's victory.
Former US President Bill Clinton told delegates in the hall that his wife is "uniquely qualified" for the office of President.

In a video beamed into the Convention from New York, Mrs. Clinton thanked the delegates for their support and said she looked forward to formally accepting the nomination later this week.
