SCOTLAND TALKS WEDNESDAY OVER EU STATUS

Scotland's First Minister will travel to Brussels on Wednesday to set out the Scottish position on the European Union following Britain's referendum.

Nicola Sturgeon says she wants to protect Scotland's membership of the EU, despite a British vote for so-called 'Brexit'.

Addressing the Scottish Parliament, Nicola Sturgeon said she will move as quickly as possible to begin discussions on preserving Scotland's EU status.
