Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Tayyip Erdogan agreed to resume cooperation and expressed readiness for a face-to-face meeting. The two leaders spoke on the phone after Erdogan sent a letter to Putin this week, in which he expressed regret over Turkey's downing of a Russian warplane last year.
