Fighting has broken out between Eritrea and Ethiopia along the countries' border. Eritrea has blamed Ethiopia for starting the conflict, which broke out on Sunday.
Coletta Wanjohi reports from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Fighting has been reported since Sunday in the Tsorona Central Front, south of Eritrea's capital Asmara and close to the border.
Eritrea issued, then removed, a press statement blaming Ethiopia for the fighting. Ethiopia has yet to officially comment.
Eritrea, which won independence from Ethiopia in 1991, fought a bloody border war with Ethiopia between 1998 and 2000. Tensions between the Horn of Africa nations persist.
