US promises more freedom of navigation exercises in South China Sea

The Obama administration is promising to increase the number of freedom of navigation exercises in the South China Sea.

During congressional testimony, top U.S. officials also urged diplomacy to resolve the disputes over who has sovereignty over which set of islands and atolls.
