Turkey has released audio it says is a recording of warnings issued to a Russian warplane over an incursion into its airspace, before it was shot down along the border with Syria.
Moscow denies its pilots were warned, and also denies its plane crossed into Turkish airspace.
One of the pilots was shot dead as he parachuted to ground inside Syria, the other was rescued.
Russia has threatened repercussions over the incident.
Nathan Hodge of the Wall Street Journal is in Moscow - he says the Kremlin is holding firm on insisting Turkish actions were unwarranted.
