UK Prime Minister David Cameron will set out his case later (Thursday) for extending British air strikes against the Islamic State into Syria.
Mr Cameron’s government hopes to hold a vote in Parliament before Christmas to sign off on bombing ISIS positions in Syria, in addition to military operations already underway in Iraq.
