EU reveals plans to boost investment across bloc

The EU is outlining plans to pool and boost investor funds to help European businesses launch and grow.

Most European companies rely on banks to provide capital but the UK's Commissioner Lord Hill is demanding the EU deepen it's so-called Capital Market's Union to help free up investment opportunities across the 28-nation bloc.
