Australian PM uses image of dead child to justify boat turnbacks

Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott has again repeated his mantra of "stopping the boats" while speaking about the tragic drowning of a toddler who's body washed up on a beach in Turkey this week
Mr Abbott says images of the Syrian boy show the importance of stopping asylum-seeker boats and was thankful his government had stopped what he called illegal migration.
Mr Abbott failed to offer any sympathy to the dead child's family rather says the image of him justifies the need for tough border protection policies.
