Nervous Monday ahead for Wall Street

Wall Street traders have had a nervous weekend following Friday’s dramatic slide in the value of stocks.

They’ll be looking to see whether the trend continues when markets re-open on Monday.

The Dow Jones Industrial Exchange shed 530 points on Friday, as Chinese stocks crashed again and oil was trading below $40 a barrel.

But Liz Ann Sonders, chief investment strategist at the brokerage house Charles Schwab, says traders would be wise not to panic.
