Front-runner in UK Labour Party leadership race under fire over Iraq "apology"

The front-runner in the race to be the next leader of Britain’s opposition Labour Party is under fire for pledging to apologize for the country’s role in the war against Iraq.

Jeremy Corbyn says if he’s elected next month he will issue a formal apology on behalf of his party for the 2003 invasion of Iraq ordered by former Labour Prime Minister Tony Blair.

But former British Army Colonel Richard Kemp says Mr. Corbyn is insulting the country’s armed forces.
