Swedish Supreme Court refuses to lift arrest warrant against Julian Assange

The Swedish Supreme Court has refused to lift an arrest warrant against Wikileaks founder Julian Assange for alleged sex offences.

Mr Assange has been living in the Ecuadorean embassy in London since 2012, to protect himself against possible extradition to the US because of the role Wikileaks played in publishing thousands of classified documents.
