Amid commemorations of the 70th anniversary of the end of World War Two in Europe controversy has emerged over Russia's actions in Ukraine.
While Russia's President Vladimir Putin criticised the west and warned of a chance of war coming again, western leaders and Ukraine's President have condemned Moscow's alleged role in the Ukraine crisis.
