UK POLLS REFUSE TO BUDGE

The latest polls in the UK General Election continue to show the opposition Labour Party and coalition-leading Conservatives neck and neck.

Many analysts are predicting a slight advantage to Labour lead Ed Miliband over Conservative David Cameron in their bids to become Prime Minister.

But May 7th's vote remains too close to call and may lead to an inconclusive result and complicated coalition negotiations, or even minority government.

The role of traditionally minor parties like the Scottish Nationalists the SNP, and anti-EU, anti-immigration UKIP could be important.

David Wooding is political editor of the Sun on Sunday - he says the major parties will have to begin to take risks to have any chance of winning a majority, but aren't doing so yet.
