Uruguay announces it will no longer take Guantanamo Bay inmates


Uruguay's new President has announced the country will no longer accept inmates from the U.S.-run Guantanamo Bay detention camp in Cuba.  

President Tabare Vazquez, who was sworn in on the first of March, added that a decision whether to accept Syrian refugees have been postponed.
