Closing arguments in Silicon Valley gender bias case

A jury in San Francisco is hearing the closing arguments in a high-profile gender discrimination case that has shone a spotlight on sexism in the technology industry.

Ellen Pao, a former junior partner at venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, is suing the firm for $16 million in lost wages — the sum she says she could have earned if she'd been promoted.
